Orthoclase Moonstone

Moonstone is the adularescent orthoclase-albite intergrowth whose billowing blue-white glow made it a Victorian favourite and a June birthstone. Sri Lanka supplies the benchmark blue-flash material. It is soft and cleavage-prone, so gentle care and protective settings are essential.
